Andorra
Andorra is a small land-locked country in southern Europe that is located high in the Pyrenees Mountains on the border between France and Spain. The population of Andorra is only 85,000 which means that if you took every single person in the country you wouldn’t be able to fill Stadium Australia or the MCG. The capital city, Andorra la Vella is the highest capital city in Europe at 1,023 metres above sea level.
The official language of Andorra is Catalan but they also recognise Spanish, French and Portuguese as they are neighbouring countries. Most Andorrans are Roman Catholic but there are a number of other Christian religions. There is a small community of Muslims and around 100 Jewish people.
Andorra has an alpine climate which means that there is often a lot of snow in winter and the summers are cooler than in Spain or France.
